The family moved to Windsor in May of 2020 and, of course, they didn’t know anyone. Trisha had never lived more than 45 minutes to an hour from her parents and now she was 3000 miles away. Through Facebook, Tim discovered he had a distant cousin living In Windsor. When they finally connected, they realized she lived on the Town Green. She was also the librarian. They instantly connected and it was so good to have family near.

Like so many families during 2020-2021- the Grambows were starting to feel restless. Trisha decided to take to the road. She and the 3 girls packed up their van and drove from California to South Carolina and back. They did “Road School” and visited every landmark and major sightseeing adventure you can think of. “It was an absolute blast. So many people have told the girls it is their dream to drive across the United States and they hope they know how lucky they are. I cherished every second of the trip with the girls.” says Trisha.

On the East Coast the Grambows had a Boykin Spaniel. That is the state dog of South Carolina. Trisha has had them in her family her whole life and her family breeds them. During Covid they were unable to bring her with them, so she currently lives with Trisha’s parents and her sister in South Carolina. When they moved to Windsor one of the first people the family met was Allie Ketcham with Ketcham Estate Winery. She had a Boykin. What were the odds! They instantly fell in love with him and have attended Boykin Spaniel events on Allie’s property. They adopted their current dog from Green Dog Rescue in Windsor. He is a Cheweenie and has been a great addition to the family.

They have lived in Vintana for 3 years. They moved to Vintana after their first year living on the Green, to give the girls a yard and a more neighborhood feel. The Grambow family attends Spring Hills Church in Sonoma County. They love to camp and enjoy all that Sonoma County has to offer.
